On a chilly fall morning, we brought out these boba-like balls for the preschoolers. I noticed the sun rising over the roof of our school, and I scooped up a bottle as the students were absorbed in their experience. The sunlight hit the bottle in what felt like an explosion of color. The light tumbled around inside the bottle through the colored beads; at that moment, I felt like I had all the inspiration in the world to give to my students.
